Opere d'arte ricavate
dalla lavorazione di sagome morbide su pannelli d'acciaio o fogli di
acrilico utilizzando appositi colori ad olio e con una tecnica che
prevede diversi passaggi nella pressa per imprimere l'immagine
disegnata su un foglio di carta. Da un secondo passaggio nella pressa
risulta un'immagine più chiara, da cui il nome monotipo.
Works of
art created by drawing with thick etching inks on smooth surfaces such
as steel plates or acrylic sheets, and running these images coupled
with a sheet of paper, through an etching press in order to impress the
drawn image onto the sheet of paper. A second passage through the press
will result in a much lighter image, hence the name monotype.
