Studi
Nell'anno 1989 ho cominciato gli studi universitari "undergraduate" presso la Pepperdine University (Malibu, California). Dopo un primo anno a Los Angeles, ho proseguito gli studi nella sede di Heidelberg in Germania, nell'A.A. 1990/91, per poi tornare in California, e laurearmi infine a pieni voti nell'estate 1993, conseguendo così il Bachelor of Arts sia in Fine Arts sia in tedesco.

Nell'autunno 1993 e nella primavera 1994 ho seguito presso l'Art Center College of Design di Pasadena (California) due corsi di design, il primo intitolato "Product and Transportation Design" il secondo di "Environmental Design".

Nell'autunno 1994 ho cominciato un Master di architettura di sette semestri presso la Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) di Los Angeles, California, che ho completato nel marzo '98.

Esperienze
Ho seguito, nell'estate 1991, uno stage presso la "Zagato Industrial Design" di Terrazzano di Rho (MI), lavorando come apprendista.

Ho partecipato alla mostra di laurea (Senior Art Show) della Pepperdine University nell'aprile 1993, sia come artista, esibendo sette pezzi di "glue works" e quattro di "monotypes", sia come organizzatore, selezionando le opere e allestendo gli spazi espositivi.

Sono stato, a partire dall'agosto 1993, uno dei fondatori e promotori della "Collegiate Galleries", un'organizzazione creata per offrire agli studenti d'arte la possibilità di esporre le loro opere, impegnandomi quindi in mostre mensili sia in qualita' di promotore sia di espositore. L'esperienza di "Collegiate Galleries" é durata 2 anni.

Sono stato selezionato ed invitato dalla "Novaspace", nel maggio 1994, a partecipare ad una esposizione per artisti locali presso il Los Angeles Theatre Center, con uno dei miei "glue works" più grandi, il "63 eyes".

Ho partecipato, nel marzo 1996, ad una mostra di arredamento intitolata "Design Watch: Modernesque", esponendo un prototipo della sedia "Slats". La mostra si tenne presso il Pacific Design Center di Los Angeles e fu organizzata dalla "Kimball International Office Forniture Group".

Sono stato selezionato a partecipare, con un modello architettonico, all'esposizione "Into the Oven", allestita dalla Southern California Institute Of Architecture (SCI-Arc), tenuta a Cambiano (TO) presso "La Fornace", nel giugno/luglio ‘96.

Sono stato scelto ad esporre, in rappresentanza di SCI-Arc, un progetto di architettura urbana alla conferenza tenutasi a Barcellona (E) nel luglio 1996.

Ho lavorato, dal giugno ‘98 al dicembre ‘99 presso lo "Studio di architettura Christian Rivola" di Rivera, Svizzera, in qualità di architetto e designer indipendente.

Dal maggio 2000 al giugno 2002 ho lavorato a metà tempo, come architetto, presso lo "Studio Milesi" di Agno, Svizzera.

Sin dal termine dei mei studi, ho costantemente lavorato alla progettazione di pezzi di design, realizzando diversi prototipi di mobili. Il più importante di questi è stata la sedia “SLATS”, di cui ho portato a termine una mini-produzione di 32 pezzi.

Education
In 1989 I began my undergraduate studies at Pepperdine University (Malibu, California). After my first year at the Malibu campus, I participated in the year abroad program, completing my sophomore year in Heidelberg, Germany. I then returned to California to graduate Cum Laude in 1993, having completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts as well as German.

In the fall of 1993, and the spring of 1994, I completed two design courses at The Art Center of Pasadena, California. The first entitled "Product and Transportation Design", and the second "Environmental Design".

In the fall of 1994 I began a seven semester Master of Architecture program, at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), which I completed in March of 1998.

Experience
In the summer of 1991, I worked as an apprentice at the firm "Zagato Industrial Design" in Terrazzano di Rho, near Milan, Italy.

In the spring of 1993, I participated in the Senior Art Show, at Pepperdine University as an artist, exhibiting seven "glue works" and four "monotypes", as well as in the organization of the show, selecting the works and setting up the spaces for each artist.

Beginning in the fall of 1993, I became one of the co-founders and promoters of "Collegiate Galleries", an organization whose intent was to offer college art students the possibility of exhibiting their work. Shows were held in the same location, on a monthly basis, with new artists every time. "Collegiate Galleries" lasted 2 years.

In May of 1994, I was selected and invited by "Novaspace" to participate with one of my large "glue works" called "63 eyes", at a large art exhibit featuring local California artists, held at the Los Angeles Theatre Center, in Downtown Los Angeles.

In March of 1996, I participated, by entering a prototype of the "Slats" chair, in the furniture design exhibition entitled "Design Watch: Modernesque", held at the Pacific Design Center of Los Angeles, California, a show organized by the Kimball International Office Furniture Group.

In the summer of 1996, I was selected to participate, with an architectural model, in the show called "Into the Oven", organized by the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), at "La Fornace" in Cambiano, Italy.

I was chosen to exhibit, as one of SCI-Arc's representatives, a project on urban planning at the architecture conference held in Barcelona (Spain) in July of 1996.

I worked as an independent architect and designer, at the "studio di architettura Christian Rivola", in Rivera, Switzerland, from June 1998 to December 1999.

From May of 2000 to June of 2002, I worked part-time as an architect, at the "Studio Milesi", in Agno, Switzerland.

Since completing my graduate studies, I have constantly worked designing various furniture pieces, the most important of which is the "Slats" chair.
